Story, even in today's age of social media, is still king (or queen). More than ever before, the need to tell real and important stories—and tell it in an interesting and engaging manner—is of paramount importance to the public. For advocacy journalists, mastering effective storytelling is even more important. Stories compellingly told give flesh and blood to theory, to analyses, to situationers, and give force to arousing, organizing and mobilizing the public.
