Words & Numbers, a rapidly growing educational publishing firm based in Baltimore , Maryland (USA) , is seeking writers who will join the company's Philippine office, Mango Creative Services, Inc. in Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija.
Words & Numbers develops content for instructional materials for Kindergarten to Grade 12. We create pupil texts, teacher texts, workbooks, and assessment items for both print and online delivery.
Writers for US Educational Publishers
(Central Luzon - Science City of Muñoz)
Responsibilities:
Successful applicants will help develop K-12 (US) assessments, teaching guides, and texts for reading, writing, and other related courses. Opportunities are also available in Math, Science, and Health for appropriately qualified writers.
Requirements:
- At least a bachelor's degree in education, communication, or subject content area
- Full mastery of English grammar, syntax, spelling, and punctuation
- Imaginative writing skills, breadth of knowledge, and an eye for detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Excellent computer skills
- Teaching and publishing experience or higher degrees in education or subject area are preferred.
- Familiarity with American pedagogical methods is desirable.
- Willing to relocate to Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija. Housing will be provided for full-time writers.
- Required language(s): English.
